Does anyone else’s hair change when the season change? Mine does and it can be a pain because my hair tends to get super dry in the winter and staticky. Winter months are here and if you’re hair struggling like mine, I have some tips on how to Prepare Your Hair for Winter months.
How To Prepare Your Hair for Winter
Don’t Wash Your Hair Every Day – Some people will wash their hair so much because they think they need to and you don’t. Wash your hair 2-3x a week. This will prevent your hair from feeling so dry.
Use Natural Hair Products – For me, I’ve noticed that switching to natural products has helped my hair tremendously. I have switched my shampoo and conditioner to the NEW Biotera Natural Origin Nurture. It’s been leaving my hair feeling moisturized, silky and luscious. I have been loving it and I don’t think I can go back to the other products I’ve used before Natural Origin Nurture.
The Natural Origin collection features seven color-safe products that gently restore beauty and radiance. The Biotera Natural Origin Nurture Shampoo and Conditioner is enriched with nourishing Coconut Oil and Honey to help with dry hair.
Give your hair more moisture by using the Natural Origin Nurture Masque. Simply apply the masque to your hair after using the shampoo and conditioner, let it soak in for 3 minutes and rinse. Your hair is going to feel amazing.
- If you’re someone with color-treated hair, don’t worry. Natural Origin Nurture is color safe products that gently restore beauty and radiance, delivering the honest-to-goodness healthy hair you need to achieve salon perfection.
- Biotera Natural Origin is free from sulfates*, silicones, parabens, and dyes. Not only that, but it features biodegradable formulas and 100% recyclable packaging**, so you can care for your hair and the Earth at the same time.
- With up to 97% naturally derived ingredients, the salon professional line offers a high-quality alternative to Biolage® R.A.W.for less.
You can easily find the NEW Biotera Natural Origin Nurture products at your local Sally’s Beauty Supply. Each the product is $10.99 which to me is reasonably priced for salon quality hair products.
Avoid Heat Styling Tools – If you need to blow dry, straighten or curl your hair, don’t use it every day. You can actually cause more damage to your hair by doing this. This will definitely dry out your hair. I like to blow dry my hair and curl it all in one day, cause then the next day I still have the wavy curls. So I can avoid using the curling wand to touch up.
Sleep with Your Hair Up – I always wondered why my hair would have breakage and that’s because I slept with my hair down. The dry air + your dry hair causes static on your pillowcase which leads to breakage.
Hopefully, you find these tips helpful and you should definitely go out and purchase the Biotera Natural Origin hair products.
